Join the First-Ever CLC Festival Court!
Do you love having fun, meeting new people, and being part of something special?
Then we’re so excited you’re here!
Our Prince & Princess Court is a chance to shine, show your personality, and help make our events unforgettable. Being part of the Royal Court isn’t just about wearing a crown (though that part is pretty awesome!)—it’s about confidence, kindness, teamwork, and volunteering in our community.
This application is your chance to tell us a little about YOU—what you like, what makes you smile, and why you’d love to be part of the Royal Court. There are no wrong answers, so be yourself and have fun with it!
With help from a parent or guardian, please fill out the application and submit it by the deadline. Our Royal Court members will be selected based on enthusiasm, positive attitude, and willingness to participate and have fun.
How it works:
- Our court applications are due by March, 31, 2026 and concludes the following December 2026 during the Christmas Parade where we will crown a Queen and King. (Subject to Change of time for Crowning)
- Girls or boys 5th-8th grade ( Jr Court) or 9th-12th grade ( High School Court) in Linn County are welcome to join!
What makes our court unique?
- No need to dress up in traditional princess or prince attire unless you want to! Participants can choose to dress fancy, wear costumes, or something in between at events—it's entirely up to you and your court.
- This experience teaches teamwork, problem-solving, and community involvement.
-We do a lot of fun community activities!
-Teens can gain community service hours for school.
What’s involved?
- Court members will volunteer with various local CLC events and parades throughout the year. This is to promote volunteerism, accomplishment and to just have fun.
- You/parents are responsible for transportation; we will provide chaperones when needed.
- Participants will receive a T-shirt to wear during events, unless the court decides to wear other coordinated attire.
- Photos will be taken during events, and participation may include features in local newspapers—opt-out options are available if preferred.
-Volunteering at every event is not mandatory but appreciated.
